What Information to Share When Requesting a Hoist Quote

A lifting-equipment quote starts with a clear description of the application. Asking only “what capacity do I need?” often leaves out details required to compare configurations. Preparing the information below makes product selection and quote discussions easier.

1. Load and lifting height

Share the heaviest intended load and the height it needs to be lifted. Include load dimensions or lifting arrangements if they may affect the product configuration.

2. Movement and operating pattern

Explain whether the load only moves vertically or also needs horizontal travel along a beam, and describe any required speeds. Expected daily operating time or duty frequency can also help define the working conditions.

3. Mounting and electrical details

Specify whether you need fixed suspension, monorail travel or connection to an existing system. Share beam dimensions, installation height and any available drawings. Include the electrical supply and any dust, moisture or other special site conditions.

Quote request checklist

  • Load weight and required lifting height
  • Required vertical/horizontal movements and speed expectations
  • Duty frequency and operating time
  • Suspension/monorail type, beam dimensions and installation drawings
  • Electrical supply and working environment

Review these details alongside the product datasheet. Final suitability and installation conditions must be verified for the specific application. Start a quote request through the Contact page.
